A Seattle real estate developer has filed plans with the City of Poulsbo for a three-story, 102-room extended-stay hotel at College Marketplace, the Walmart-anchored commercial corridor off Highway 305 that has become one of Kitsap County's busiest growth zones.
State law requires a comment window before it can stand, and Poulsbo set that deadline for Sept.
BCI Pacific's own site describes the Poulsbo project as still in design, meaning exterior renderings, room mix and site layout could still change before the city completes its review.
Construction broke ground April 25, per the district's news updates , which is funding the project in partnership with the City of Poulsbo.
Kitsap County's population growth, concentrated in Poulsbo and North Kitsap relative to more built-out South Kitsap communities, fits that profile better than any single catalyst would.
BCI Pacific has filed plans for a 102-room Home2 Suites by Hilton at Poulsbo's College Marketplace, opening a public comment period that runs through Sept. 1 as the corridor also builds a $16 million recreation center.
