On Thursday, the technology startup Sesame released its long-awaited iOS application across 39 countries, marking the first broad public rollout of its unique conversational artificial intelligence.

The app is currently available in nearly 40 countries and offers its full suite of features for free during this preview phase.

Sesame’s strategy of running "parallel searches" suggests a high compute demand, yet its ability to deliver this for free in 39 countries indicates a robust capital position following its $250 million Series B.

Sesame's vision of an agent that understands natural dialogue and can execute tasks autonomously would sidestep the "prompt engineering" requirement that currently bars many non-technical users from fully utilizing AI.
